Exporting
Once you’ve generated audio for your screenplay, you can export it in several formats for different uses.
Export Formats
MP3
- Best for: General sharing, podcasts, most playback devices
- Quality: Good compression with acceptable quality
- File size: Smallest
WAV
- Best for: Professional editing, highest quality needs
- Quality: Uncompressed, lossless
- File size: Largest
M4A (AAC)
- Best for: Apple devices, good quality with smaller file size
- Quality: Better than MP3 at similar file sizes
- File size: Medium
How to Export
Export Selected Scenes
- Go to the Scenes tab
- Check the boxes next to scenes you want to export
- Click Export Selected
- Choose your format
- Select a destination folder
- Click Export
Export All
- Click Export All in the toolbar
- Choose your format
- Select a destination folder
- Click Export
Export Options
When exporting, you can choose:
- Single file: All scenes combined into one audio file
- Separate files: Each scene as its own file
- By act: Grouped by act (if acts are defined in your screenplay)
File Naming
Exported files are named automatically:
- Single file:
[Screenplay Title].mp3 - Separate files:
[Screenplay Title] - Scene [Number].mp3 - By act:
[Screenplay Title] - Act [Number].mp3
Quality Settings
MP3 Options
- Standard (128 kbps): Good for voice, smaller files
- High (256 kbps): Better quality, moderate size
- Maximum (320 kbps): Best MP3 quality
WAV Options
- 16-bit: Standard CD quality
- 24-bit: Professional studio quality
M4A Options
- Standard (128 kbps): Good for voice
- High (256 kbps): Better quality

Sharing Exports
After export:
- Find your files in the destination folder
