This includes: - Anonymous session identifiers (not linked to your identity) - App version and operating system - General device type (iPhone, iPad, Mac) - Feature usage patterns (anonymized) - Crash reports (anonymized) **Important**: TelemetryDeck does not collect personally identifiable information. Analytics data cannot be used to identify you. ### Information We Do NOT Collect - **Your Screenplays**: Your creative content stays on your device. We never upload, store, or access your screenplays. - **Audio Generations**: Generated audio files are created locally or via direct API calls to voice services. We do not store or access this content. - **API Keys**: If you use the BYOK feature, your ElevenLabs API key is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers. ## How We Use Your Information We use collected information to: - Improve the App's features and performance - Understand how users interact with the App - Identify and fix bugs and crashes - Respond to support requests - Comply with legal obligations ## Data Sharing **We do not sell your personal information.** We may share information with: - **Analytics Provider**: We use TelemetryDeck for anonymous analytics. They process data according to their privacy policy and provide the same level of data protection as stated in this policy. - **Voice Generation Services**: When generating audio with premium voices (ElevenLabs, Azure, Google Cloud), your screenplay dialogue text is sent directly from your device to the voice service provider. This is necessary for the App's voice generation functionality. Each provider maintains industry-standard data protection and complies with applicable privacy regulations. - **Apple Services**: Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. Apple's privacy policy applies to payment processing. - **Legal Requirements**: We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to comply with legal processes. **Important:** We do not have access to or store your screenplays, generated audio, or API keys. These remain on your device or are transmitted directly between your device and the voice service provider you choose to use. ## Third-Party Services Produciesta integrates with third-party services to provide functionality. When you use these services, your data may be shared with these providers. ### TelemetryDeck (Analytics) We use TelemetryDeck for privacy-respecting analytics. The voice providers we support include: #### Built-in Apple Voices (Free) - Uses Apple's on-device speech synthesis - No data leaves your device - No third-party data sharing #### ElevenLabs (Pro Subscription Required) **What data is shared:** When you use ElevenLabs voices, your screenplay dialogue text is sent directly from your device to ElevenLabs' servers for voice synthesis. **User consent:** By enabling ElevenLabs in the app settings and providing your own API key, you explicitly consent to sharing your dialogue text with ElevenLabs. **Data retention:** ElevenLabs processes your text according to their privacy policy. We never access or transmit your API key to our servers. #### Azure Cognitive Services (Pro Subscription Required) **What data is shared:** When you use Azure voices, your screenplay dialogue text is sent directly from your device to Microsoft Azure's servers for voice synthesis. **User consent:** By enabling Azure Cognitive Services in the app settings and providing your own API key, you explicitly consent to sharing your dialogue text with Microsoft Azure. **Data retention:** Microsoft processes your text according to their privacy policy. We never access or transmit your API key to our servers. #### Google Cloud Text-to-Speech (Pro Subscription Required) **What data is shared:** When you use Google Cloud voices, your screenplay dialogue text is sent directly from your device to Google Cloud's servers for voice synthesis. **User consent:** By enabling Google Cloud TTS in the app settings and providing your own API credentials, you explicitly consent to sharing your dialogue text with Google Cloud. **Data retention:** Google processes your text according to their privacy policy. Google Cloud TTS has data retention policies described in their documentation. **Third-party terms:** Google's [Terms of Service](https://cloud.google.com/terms) and [Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy) apply to this data sharing. **Your credentials:** Your Google Cloud credentials are stored securely on your device using Apple's Keychain. We never access or transmit your credentials to our servers. ### Data Protection Guarantees We have reviewed the privacy policies and terms of service of all third-party voice providers we integrate with. Each provider: - Uses industry-standard encryption for data transmission - Provides enterprise-grade security measures - Complies with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations - Offers data processing agreements for commercial use - Allows users to delete their data upon request **Your control:** You can choose which voice provider to use, or use only built-in Apple voices to keep all data on-device. You can revoke consent and stop using a voice provider at any time by disabling it in app settings. ## Data Retention - **Analytics Data**: Aggregated analytics are retained for up to 24 months. - **Support Communications**: Retained as long as needed to resolve your request, then deleted. - **Local Data**: Your screenplays and generated audio are stored only on your device.
